Meaningless Mundane would have been a companion EP to Intriguing Fascinating consisting of outtakes and other ideas from around the same time, extended and polished off. It never materialized.

Meaningless Mundane would have been the soundtrack to a project of ours, where songs from Meaningless Mundane were mixed in with new songs that happened to be lying around. It never materialized.

Meaningless Mundane compiles Meaningless Mundane in its finished form ("Retracted Study") and a selection of songs from Meaningless Mundane ("Replication Failure").
